Prior to Wavelink, David Bullis served as president and CEO of Loudeye Technology, a Seattle-based Internet streaming media company. During his two years at Loudeye, Bullis led the company through a successful IPO, strategic acquisitions, and grew the company from 40 to over 300 employees.
Prior to Loudeye, Bullis served as president and CEO of Data I/O, where he led the company's restructuring efforts, helping to revitalize the product lines and acquire a leading European competitor. Prior to Data I/O, Bullis spent eight years as Sr. VP and General Manager at Synopsys, a leading provider of design automation software for electronics systems and semi-conductor devices. Bullis was responsible for the Synopsys Design Verification business and oversaw the merger with ViewLogic. Bullis also helped lead the development of Logic Modeling prior to an acquisition by Synopsys, and was the CEO and cofounder of Summation.
A native of Iowa, Bullis received his BSEE from Iowa State University and his MSEE from Colorado State University.
As the President and Chief Operations Officer of Wavelink, Lamar Van Wagenen is responsible for the direction, success and day-to-day management of teams in Seattle, Washington and Midvale, Utah. Lamar has been developing software and managing R&D initiatives for more than 20 years, with the last 10 years focused on host connectivity, emulation and wireless networking. His management experience includes 3 years as General Manager of ROI Systems, and 2 years as Vice President of Engineering for Wavelink. Lamar joined Wavelink in November of 2000 when Wavelink acquired ROI Systems, Inc. Prior to joining Wavelink, he was the initial developer of ROI's emulation software and a key player in building ROI Systems into a multi-million dollar company and a leader in the emulation marketplace. Lamar received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah in 1990.
As the Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Stephen Bemis is responsible for the overall strategic direction of Wavelink’s sales and activities. Stephen came to Wavelink in 2003 with over 28 years of experience in hardware and software sales and management with a focus on mobile environments. He has a proven record of accomplishment in sales, operations and engineering management, with an extensive knowledge in Wireless LAN (WLAN) data communications.
Before Stephen joined Wavelink initially as the Channel Business Manager, he spent over 18-years at Telxon Corporation, a leading manufacturer of handheld wireless devices, with a focus on Wireless networks. Previous experience includes, serving as Chief Technical Officer for Market Order and as the Executive Vice President of Operations at Versatile Mobile Systems, a leading mobile device integrator company, where he was responsible for driving over 17 Million in sales annually. Stephen possesses a B.S in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science.
As CFO, Mark Pocock oversees and directs all aspects of the company's accounting, finance, human resources, and IT operations. Prior to joining Wavelink, Mark held a variety of management positions in the software industry, including leadership in the financial reporting group at Microsoft. Mark began his career in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche where he served clients in a variety of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, and software. Mark is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master's Degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
As Director of Marketing, Jay Cichosz is responsible for the overall strategic and tactical direction of Wavelink’s marketing, communications and public relations activities. He oversees the development and enhancement of Wavelink’s image and position within the industry marketplace and works closely with Wavelink’s distributors and resellers.
Mr. Cichosz has over ten years of service with Wavelink, having held a variety of positions in project and product management and marketing. Serving as the Product Director, Project Manager and Director of Product Management at Wavelink has given Mr. Cichosz a unique understanding of the company’s products and future roadmap. With this unique perspective, he has been able to transform the Wavelink brand in less than a year by securing greater visibility with industry media and promoting Wavelink’s position as an industry leader and innovator.
Mr. Cichosz received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from Montana State University. He has maintained certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2005.
As the Vice President of Engineering, Mont Van Wagenen is responsible for directing the engineering and support teams and interfacing with key customers. He coordinates all activities associated with creating Wavelink software across multiple areas and is an important part of the strategic development of future Wavelink software, its technology and implementation.
Mr. Van Wagenen began his career at Wavelink as an architect and from there held several positions including senior developer and director of engineering. Over the course of his twelve years with Wavelink, Mr. Van Wagenen has been instrumental in the software development of its core product line.
Mr. Van Wagenen received a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Utah.
