A medical supply provider uses Wavelink Speakeasy to increase picking accuracy and productivity

Running on existing voice-capable mobile devices, Speakeasy does not require customers to spend additional money on servers or new devices. As processing is done on the actual device, there is also no need to expand the organizations network infrastructure, which result in further costly upgrades and time. With the additional benefits of application flexibility and hands-free operation, Speakeasy maximizes workflow and increases productivity, while reducing data entry errors. An existing Wavelink customer who has been using Avalanche Mobility Center and Wavelink Terminal Emulation for several years recently made the decision to implement Speakeasy. A mid-west medical supply provider with several locations and an intense picking environment were looking for a solution to further their productivity and efficiency. Wavelink worked closely with the company to assist with the scripting set-up of Speakeasy and ensured that all of the devices they were using were fully functional. Currently, Speakeasy has been deployed to 50 devices across one factory floor and the company has seen 100% picking accuracy and a 10 – 12 % increase in productivity. The company has been extremely satisfied and was pleased to find that with Speakeasy, there was a much smaller upfront cost and unlike other voice software applications, they could keep their existing devices.
